Senior Health Insurance Company of Pennsylvania selects VUE Compensation Management for their Commission Payments

Coconut Creek, Florida, 11/17/2009 — Computer Solutions and Software International, Inc. (CSSI®) announced that Senior Health Insurance Company of Pennsylvania, a long-term care (LTC) insurance policy provider, selected VUE Compensation Management. SHIP will use the solution to pay commissions to their agents in addition to simplifying their agent care and agent vesting.

“We selected the VUE Compensation Management because of its flexibility in automating our commission payments with minimal IT support,” said Brian Wegner, Executive Vice President and COO of SHIP. “The VUE Software team’s professional, hands-on approach to understanding our requirements and integrating them into the core system reflects CSSI’s substantial insurance expertise. We are looking forward to reaping the benefits that this state of the art solution will deliver.”

The VUE Compensation Management solution will give SHIP the capability to successfully manage agent vesting by delineating the premium thresholds between LTC and non-LTC products and paying agents accordingly. Since the process of recording inquiries and complaints will be automated with minimal involvement from IT staff, SHIP will also be better positioned to handle agent care issues promptly.

“The architecture of the VUE Compensation Management solution makes it scalable and easily able to interface with other systems,” said Stephen Bruno, CEO of CSSI. “With an integrated, automated system, SHIP can expect to see a significant reduction in calls regarding agent concerns. They will also benefit from the ability to split premium thresholds accurately to address the issue of agent vesting on LTC products.”

With the introduction of the VUE Compensation Management solution to their existing systems, SHIP looks to drastically reduce the manual work involved in their commission processing for greater operational efficiency and improved agent care.

Insphere Insurance Solutions selects VUE Software for Robust, Flexible Distribution Management Platform

Insphere Insurance Solutions selects VUE Compensation Management and VUE IncentivePoint to serve as the company’s core technology platform

Coconut Creek, FL, 10/22/2009 - VUE Software today announced that Insphere Insurance Solutions, a rapidly growing independent career agency offering life, health, long-term care and retirement products for small businesses and the middle-income market, has selected several VUE Software solutions to form the basis for the company’s core technology. Insphere Insurance Solutions (
http://www.insphereis.com) is currently implementing VUE Compensation Management and VUE IncentivePoint to form a robust, leading-edge technology platform that will support the dynamic growth of the company.

With an already sizeable and rapidly growing career agent force, Insphere Insurance Solutions needed to find a technology vendor that was accustomed to delivering complex solutions that met the company’s dynamic business needs – and deliver in a short timeframe. Insphere Insurance Solutions found its match in VUE Software, the product division of Computer Solutions and Software International (CSSI), a company of insurance and technology specialists with over 18 years of experience serving insurance carriers, large independent insurance agencies, and Managed General Agencies.

“It was essential for us to select a solution that would meet our current needs and be flexible enough to adapt to our evolving requirements as well. The VUE Software suite offered solutions that seemed tailor-made to fit our business model,” said Phillip J. Hildebrand, President and Chief Executive Officer of Insphere Insurance Solutions. “Equally important was the expertise of the VUE Software team in delivering solutions to large agencies in a very short period of time, which will allow us to meet our aggressive implementation timeline.”

VUE Compensation Management will provide Insphere Insurance Solutions with essential functionalities that will help the company on-board multiple carriers and product types, provide standards-based templates for carrier interfaces and deliver flexible incentive program capabilities. In addition, the VUE Compensation Management solution’s powerful interface engine allows integration with other systems and regulatory bodies, facilitating agent credential verification, training and certification.

Utilizing web services, VUE IncentivePoint seamlessly integrates VUE Compensation Management with robust customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities, enabling Insphere to easily manage leads, its customer pipeline and its sales performance. The VUE Compensation Management solution’s service oriented architecture (SOA) and web services will allow Insphere Insurance Solutions to provide CRM functionality to their large agent force through an online portal. Career agents will benefit from 24/7 access to data on customers, goal attainment, and compensation.

“A major benefit of our architecture is that data inside VUE Compensation Management can be made available to multiple systems, including CRM systems and producer portals utilizing the solution’s web services,” said Abhinav Dave, Executive Vice President of CSSI and VUE Software. “This capability has already proved beneficial to our clients and will be instrumental in facilitating the growth of Insphere Insurance Solutions as well.”

CSSI® Recognized as One of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in America

Coconut Creek, Florida, 8/25/2008 — Inc., the major business magazine edited exclusively for CEOs of fast-growing private companies, has recognized Computer Solutions and Software International, Inc® (CSSI®) as one of the fastest growing private companies in America. CSSI has been included in the 2009 Inc. 5000 list showcasing increasing momentum in its business growth.

Inc. magazine today ranked CSSI No. 2804 on its third annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Consumer electronics maker Vizio, Internet giant GoDaddy, rental car service Zipcar, and beverage maker Honest Tea are among the prominent brands featured on this year's list.

“Savvy trend spotters and those who invest in private companies know that the Inc. 5000 is the best place to find out about young companies that are achieving success through a wide variety of unprecedented business models, as well as older private companies that are still expanding at an impressive rate,” said Inc. 5000 project manager Jim Melloan. “That’s why our list is so eagerly anticipated every year.”

CSSI and its VUE Software division have experienced substantial growth in 2009, strengthening the company’s leadership position as a premier Compensation Management vendor for the insurance and health plan markets. New client additions include several of the country’s largest health, life, and P&C carriers. CSSI has also seen a sustained interest from current clients and the broader insurance and health plan markets for CRM solutions, and has developed out-of-the-box integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

“We’re honored to be recognized by Inc. Magazine.” shared Stephen Bruno, CSSI CEO. “This accomplishment is a direct reflection of our commitment to delivering world-class solutions designed from the ground-up to meet the specific needs of the insurance market.”

The 2009 Inc. 5000, unveiled today on Inc.com, serves as a unique report card on the U.S. economy. Despite the ongoing recession, aggregate revenue among the companies on the list actually increased to $214 billion, up $29 billion from last year, with a median three-year growth rate of 126 percent. The Inc. 5000 are responsible for creating more than 1 million jobs since their founding, making the list perhaps the best example of the impact private, fast-growing companies can have on the economy. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found on Inc.com.

Methodology
The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first week of 2005, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they have to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent -- not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies -- as of December 31, 2008. Revenue in 2005 must have been at least $200,000, and revenue in 2008 must have been at least $2 million. The top 10 percent of companies on the list comprise the Inc. 500, now in its 28th year.

CSSI’s Dedication to Healthcare Illustrated by Decade-long Partnership with Non-Profit Provider of Rehabilitation Data Services

Coconut Creek, Florida, 07/14/2009 – Computer Solutions and Software International, Inc. (CSSI®) today reinforces its dedication to healthcare through its continued partnership with Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSMR), a not-for-profit organization that offers its subscribers a wide range of tools and services enabling documentation of the severity of patient disabilities and the results of medical rehabilitation in a uniform way.

CSSI has been a major development and implementation partner with UDSMR for more than eight years. The UDS-PRO® system, developed by CSSI for UDSMR, is the industry’s largest patient outcomes software application and database of patient records, managing data for more than 70% of all inpatient rehabilitation facilities.

The extensive knowledge contained in this database makes UDSMR the trusted source within the rehabilitation industry for objective evaluations of industry trends for use in standards, benchmarking, and public policy debates.

This powerful system combines UDSMR’s clinical expertise and CSSI’s technical capabilities to manage all aspects of processing data from the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI), beginning with data collection and case management through data transmission to both the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and UDSMR. This system was designed to assist rehabilitation facilities in complying with rules mandated by CMS regarding the collection of data used for reimbursement of all Medicare patients across the country.

“CSSI really understands the industry’s need for secure management of sensitive data, and how to best design technology to organize, control access and share that data,” said Pawel Wieczorek, CIO of UDSMR. “We’ve trusted CSSI for over ten years for their domain expertise and reliability. The sizeable market share of subscribers is a testimony to the quality of the product created by this strong partnership.”

CSSI is also UDSMR’s exclusive implementation partner for the Health Level 7 (HL7) interface, an optional add-on service to UDS-PRO® database subscribers. The HL7 interface communicates with other health care systems and the UDS-PRO® system for seamless transmittance of accurate data.

Due to the success of these systems, UDSMR has again chosen CSSI as their implementation partner to develop a documentation tool which will add to their integrated suite of database and reporting systems.

“Our partnership with UDSMR has been very rewarding”, said Prabhakar Dixit, Program Manager at CSSI. “UDSMR provides a highly valuable service to both their subscribers and the rehabilitation industry as a whole with their UDS-PRO® System database. We are extremely happy to continue our association with UDSMR in the development of their new documentation tool.”

VUE Compensation Management® is successfully integrated with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Coconut Creek, Florida, 5/19/2009 — Computer Solutions and Software International, Inc. (CSSI®) today announced the successful integration of VUE Compensation Management® with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The project of integrating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Incentive Compensation Management (ICM), sponsored by Microsoft, provides insurance organizations a single source for managing client relationships, sales processes, and incentive compensation.

“We are incredibly excited to be associated with this project,” said Joseph Westlake, Vice President at CSSI. “Integrating CRM functionality with VUE Compensation Management opens new possibilities to insurers. An insurer or agency can now provide clear, real-time indicators of how an individual’s performance will influence their own goal attainment and compensation. There’s simply no better incentive to a sales or retention team than providing this information integrated throughout the tools they already use to manage the sales process.”

As a prominent member of Microsoft’s Insurance Value Chain (IVC), VUE Software has designed VUE Compensation Management to provide the tools to accommodate any insurance company’s compensation requirements.

“The economic climate demands that businesses derive greater value from their people, processes, and technology,” said Brad Wilson, Microsoft’s General Manager for CRM. “Microsoft Dynamics CRM and VUE Compensation Management provide a unique solution to increase operational agility for insurance organizations. Now, carriers and brokers can leverage automation in sales and marketing processes through a single CRM window with direct real-time visibility of goal attainment and its impact on commission and bonus payouts.”

With this integration, insurance carriers and agencies will see the benefits of direct feedback on sales agents’ performance, from continuing education to retention goals; every agent performance metric can be tracked and reported throughout the system. Lead aging reports can be monitored to show the velocity of an individual or team’s pipeline, and roll-up reports allow the management hierarchy to quickly view their teams members’ performance.

The integration of Dynamics CRM with VUE Compensation Management greatly simplifies the complex insurance sales compensation model. Much of the information needed to calculate incentives and commissions is taken directly from Dynamics CRM. This information is sent instantly to VUE Compensation Management for compensation calculations when a sales lead or opportunity is converted to a customer in Dynamics CRM. The agent and the territory responsible for the sale are also updated in the ICM system. This straight-through processing eliminates the need to manually feed the same information into two different applications, reducing errors and freeing up time to be spent on critical activities. The individual capabilities of CRM and ICM solutions combine in this new integration to dramatically increase sales and marketing effectiveness among insurance organizations.

BlueCross BlueShield of Vermont’s Success with VUE Compensation Management Featured in Windows® in Financial Services Magazine

Coconut Creek, Florida, 05/04/2009 – Computer Solutions and Software International, Inc. (CSSI®) today announced that the VUE Compensation Management project with BlueCross BlueShield of Vermont (BCBSVT) has been featured in Windows® in Financial Services Magazine, the source on Microsoft Technologies for financial services. VUE Compensation Management is developed on Microsoft .NET Framework enabling BCBSVT to decouple broker commissions from insurance premiums, reduce manual interventions by 97 percent and go paperless with broker commission statements.

“Since the start of the implementation in March 2007, VUE Compensation Management has enabled us to examine every broker compensation arrangement in place, identifying out-of-date incentive programs and recognizing cases where broker commissions were not leveraging the desired business result,” says Ellen Yakubik, marketing director for the company. “As a result of this data cleanup and improved processing controls, BCBSVT has saved nearly half a million dollars. Over the next few years, we expect VUE Compensation Management to help us further refine our broker payment processes and focus our commission costs on maximizing the value from our distribution channels.”

In addition, VUE Compensation Management has created a single data store for all broker information and has facilitated the insurer to disburse 85 percent of broker payments electronically. The time spent processing commissions has gone from 65 hours per month to only six, and as the organization continues to go paperless, it expects further savings.

VUE Compensation Management, with an intuitive interface, provides a solid platform for companies to create incentive programs that maximize sales of their most profitable products. Compensation strategies can be changed quickly in response to market opportunities, providing companies with a competitive advantage, and delivering the flexibility sales and marketing executives need.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont integrates Dynamics CRM with VUE Compensation Management

Coconut Creek, Florida, 04/14/2009 — Computer Solutions and Software International, Inc. (CSSI®) today announced that BlueCross and BlueShield of Vermont (BCBSVT) has partnered with CSSI to integrate Microsoft® Dynamics CRM with the VUE Compensation Management solution already in use at BCBSVT. Vermont’s largest single health carrier and one of only three carriers operating in Vermont, BCBSVT will use this integration to systematically streamline their sales, service and marketing activities and expand their quality health services.

“We are well-positioned to take our customer service strategy to the next level” said Dennis Cahill, Director, Sales and Service at BCBSVT. “CRM brings the flexibility to marketing, sales and service providing management a quick access on productivity of the teams. We can instantly synchronize information between sales and marketing teams, which greatly enhances our follow up time, both with the customers and with commission calculations. With this integration, we look forward to repeating the success we had with implementing the VUE Compensation Management solution.”

With this integration of VUE Software and Dynamics CRM, BCBSVT will replace its old CRM system, which did not enable powerful enough report generation and tracking of prospective customers. This integration introduces a systematic work flow process to sales, service, and marketing activities. Even multiple agents can work with the same customer without any commission hassles. Managing customer data and following up with renewals is simpler for agents and ensures a better customer experience.

“We are happy to continue our long-standing relationship with BCBSVT”, said Abhinav Dave, Executive Vice President at CSSI. “Integrating CRM functionality with VUE Compensation Management opens new possibilities to carriers. BCBSVT can now leverage this integration to monitor producer performance and improve customer service objectives with the most time-effective, costefficient, and overall simplest process.”

The integration interface periodically updates data to maintain current information in both applications. This accelerates the processes of managing new sales, changing customer and broker information, and policy renewal.

With each policy expiring annually, sales teams are better equipped to notify customers about policy renewal, along with information on new policies and services delivering customers that are better engaged through these timely responses.
