Senior Health Insurance Company of Pennsylvania Goes Live with VUECompensation Management

Coconut Creek, Florida, 04/06/2010 — Computer Solutions and Software International, Inc. (CSSI®), today announced that VUE Compensation Management is live in production at Senior Health Insurance Company of Pennsylvania (SHIP), a long-term care (LTC) insurance policy provider. VUE Compensation Management will streamline SHIP’s commission payments and simplify the complexity involved in agent care and agent vesting.

“We are very pleased that the conversion of our highly complex commission environment to the VUE Compensation Management system was completed on time and that the system is paying commissions accurately,” said Brian Wegner, Executive Vice President and COO of SHIP. “We are also pleased that as a result of the capabilities VUE Compensation Management offers, we are now able to reduce our operating expenses through improved efficiencies in our operation.”

VUE Compensation Management will give SHIP the capability to accurately delineate premium thresholds between LTC and non-LTC products and pay agents accordingly. Since the process of recording inquiries and issues will be automated with minimal involvement from IT staff, SHIP will increase their representatives’ ability to independently and quickly manage agent care.

“With the introduction of the VUE Compensation Management solution in to their existing system, SHIP will experience a significant reduction in calls regarding agent concerns,” said Stephen Bruno, President and CEO of CSSI. “This project is a testament to the architectural flexibility of VUE Compensation Management and its ability to accommodate the dynamic requirements of varied insurance organizations. With such complexity and individual differences among insurance companies, it’s important for technology solutions to be flexible and adaptable, instead of forcing companies to work around their technology or to adapt their processes to fit the way their technology works.”
